So uh, I've tried to undervolt this mighty baby right here but unfortunately i can't. So first i installed Intel ETU aand it was greyed out. So then i installed a older version of Intel ETU. And the good thing is that the greyed out part needed to undervolt, ( Core Voltage Offset ) Wasn't greyed out anymore and i was happy at that point. So i did -0,080 Volt at first, And at idle it still kicked 90 degrees of Celsius at idle. With Thermal Throttling going wild as well at some point when i start to listen to songs. And now i'm on -0,140 V and it hits 90 Celsius at one point too. I've had this baby for at least 3 years now? ( It has a GTX 1050 TI and a intel core i5 8th gen) And i feel like it's time to throw this one out of the window and buy a new laptop. ( i was thinking of a HP omen 15-ek0730nd with the crazy 300 hz display! )
Why i wanna buy a new laptop? It's because i cannot do anything! On idle i get 90 degrees of Celsius. Which sounds crazy! Because it's gotten cleaned out too. I gave my laptop to a computer specialist who cleaned out everything and did the pasta etc. I even confirmed. When i play games like Counter Strike Global Offensive, i hit 200 fps, And then suddenly for 6 seconds or so it dips to 20 FPS. And then normalizes to 200 again. ( Medium settings, Seems like changing settings doesnt differ) I'm gonna link a picture of what i did in intel ETU as well. ( only changed the core voltage offset ) Thanks in advance!
