My daughters Predator Helios 300 has a "No Bootable Device" error 2 months after the warranty expired and I'm having difficulty fixing it. After searching it up, it looks like I need to make a Windows bootable USB but I don't have the key code. I have looked through all of the documentation and can not find it. So, question 1: How do I get the Windows 10 key code and question 2: Am I on the right track to fix the problem?

the product key for 10 (OEM version  which'll be what the laptop came with) is on a chip inside the laptop - so no need to find it as when 10 is reinstalled it will automatically activate with that code (or should do!).  You might be on the right track, but a reinstall will delete everything personal.   If it doesn't reinstall with a new copy, it might be a hardware fault but personally, i'd try it first (download 10 from this address on another pc, and use MS's own media creation tool to make a bootable usb stick - you might need to go into the bios and enable the f12 boot option so you can choose to boot from the stick on boot).    Drivers will need to be added after a fresh install but if the laptop has a internet connection, that should be pretty automatic.

Try a bios default. If it still shows same issue then it's an hardware issue. Hdd might have been corrected. How long since warranty expired.

    6. Go with the option (Keep my files/Remove every thing)
    7. Then follow the on screen instruction.

Check this T/S and post the result.
