I am having a problem with the DC connection on my Acer Aspire A515-44-R41B. The connection to my charger is very loose. I tried a different charger, but that didn't help. Charging my laptop is almost comical at this point. Could I get the part number for a replacement part. I called service and they said that for a warrantee repair it would take 2-3 weeks and need to be sent out. I can't afford to do that.

I couldn't find the part number for the DC Jack but I found this part online, I don't know whether it's soldered or clip in the motherboard, so I would suggest you check the motherboard before you order this part or check with the retailer.

I compared the both laptops, yes, A515-55G is compatible with A315-55G, this site seems have the part: https://www.ugparts.com/acer-aspire-3-a3155555g55kg-dc-jack-dcin-power-charging-connector-port-p-129.html
The reason why your charger plug is lose inside the DC jack is because the DC jack side negative pins have been bent outwards and whenever you plug the charger plug in, the charger plug does not make full contact and is lose in the DC jack.
Get a toothpick or a nonconductive tool and bend the side negative pins of the DC jack and bend them inwards as that will secure the charger plug into the DC jack whenever you plug it in. The DC jack on the A515-44 is soldered onto the mobo and there is no Acer reference to this DC port and/or part number, so you will need to just search the web (see brummyfan2 reference above for this port) or go to an electronic shop and look for a matching DC port that is the same.
You need microscopic soldering skills and a microscope and proper tools to replace this DC port and to do this job, don't attempt to do it yourself as you will do more damage than fix anything and you will damage the mobo.
