Screen Glitching Swift 5

The screen on my Swift 5 will occasionally glitch out or get fuzzy (images attached). This usually happens in Chrome or Outlook but can occur using any appliation and does not happen every time. In addition, I have gotten a variety of Blue Screen errors over the past few weeks. When hooked up to an external monitor, even if my laptop screen goes haywire, whatever is on the monitor is totally fine. I was wondering if this is a driver issue, an issue with the connection to my screen, or something else? I am a student and having a working laptop is essential because all of my classes are online. Thank you in advance for all of the help!

    Hi lcohen19,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.

That's looking more like a driver issue than hardware. When the hardware goes the artifacts on the display are usually more random looking. Which Swift 5 model do you have? I'd first try rolling back to the stock driver and if that didn't do it moving forward to the latest driver for the hardware.
