As the title saying, there are two version of VG272UV (UM.HV2EE.S01).

First one - from August 2020 - let say type A,
Second one - from November 2020 - let say type B.

From my experience with both of types:

Black is not black, not really. And there is a terrible problem to set white to be white.

Differnces:

1. Type A have Agile-Splendor IPS sticker on the front:

Type B: ΔE Color Accuracy Sticker on the front:

2. Type A has no factory "professional" color calibration, Type B has and it is enclosed with the unit (Testing report assigned to the SN number of the unit):

3: Sticker on the box
TypeA:
Type B:

4. Sticker on the back of the unit:
Type A:

Type B:

As we can see - there is a change with parameters of energy efficiency  -Type A: 0,011 W/cm2, 0,26W  0,21W  and Type B: 0,022W/cm2, 0,35W, 0,25W.

5. Type B has almost no black bleeding, clouding, and uniformity of the "black" is better than in type A.

6. Matrix:
Type A it is known from unofficial sources that the monitor uses the AUO M270DAN06.6  - Type B - no info (??).

We have TWO different monitors with different behaviour and quality with THE SAME DESIGNATION - VG272UV (UM.HV2EE.S01)
Question is - why Acer implemented this changes and why there no info about that anywhere?

Acer often buys components from multiple manufacturers. They all meet the same spec, but sometimes you can find one that exceeds spec. That is likely the case here.
