Hello, recently bought an Acer Swift 3 (SF314-42-R3U5) via amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HPDMGCT/

Looking around the internet and these forums, I'm wondering if it can charge via USB-C. It has those two parallel markings by the USB-C port, and this charger here: https://store.acer.com/en-us/ak-045ap-080 was the only one I could find on the acer store that was 45W. Is this the correct USB-C charger and is it compatible with my SF314-42?

Thanks!

    UPDATE:

I asked Acer tech support live chat if it could charge via USB-C when I made this post and they said it could and referred me to Acer sales live chat to buy a USB-C charger. Acer sales said that the tech live chat agent was wrong or that I was mistaken about the ability for this laptop to charge with USB-C. The two parrallel markings that I referred in the OP mean power/DC, I should have clarified. Then I get a post linking me to a 3 year old FAQ answer around the time when the Ryzen desktop chips first started coming out...

So I bought a USB-C 65W PD power adapter with a USB-C cable (total for $20) for something else unrelated but decided to try to use it on this laptop. Guess what? It charges. So anyone who has this laptop, it means you can charge via USB-C, especially since USB-C can deliver power up to 100W or so. Honestly the information on the specifications on the products on this website are terrible, it doesn't even list how many USB-C ports the laptop has.

Not sure how to remove accepted answers. Posting this so anyone searching will be able to find this information.
