Hi this is my laptop:
https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/model/NH.Q8LEK.003

I have these random fps drops on the monitor when my laptop has power plugged in and the game stays at 100+ fps the whole time, could this be something to do with the monitor

Im not sure what it could be, if you need more info please let me know

I need to get this fixed ASAP

Battery must be near 100% charged, charger plugged in and power plan set to performance mode BEFORE starting heavy gaming loads for maximum play time. There seems to be nothing wrong with either your monitor or laptop. Jack E/NJ

it still happens when the battery is at 100% the charger is plugged in and it is set to "acer" power plan as I don't have a performance option

I've found an article on how to add high performance - https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/110372-restore-missing-default-power-plans-windows-10-a.html

    Thanks for the help!
