XB273KP No power/ won't turn on

Hey all,
I Have had my XB273KP Monitor for about 12 months now with no issues but I came home the other day and tried to turn it on with no luck. Blue light wont come on and the 30 second power button reset doesn't seem to do anything. Used my current detector and it seems like the adapter is working fine. I couldn't find any other threads with the exact same issue. any advice?

    Try connecting to a different socket and check if still dont work than it should be the problem with the port which connect the power adapter.
