No idea if I'm in right section,  please move if not. Just signed up.✌😎

My bro got the Acer A315-22-49QX for his daughter
and to be honest it's terrible. It was so slow she hasn't even used it, after a year since he bought it for her. So I tried helping, put an SSD in it which was all good. Then as soon as i upgraded the memory to 8GB from Crucil Memory shop. Kept getting BSOD load of these messages.
*NTSF.sys
*unexpected kernel trap mode
*interrupt exception not handled
*irql_not_less_or_equal
*special pool detected memory corruption
*system services exception
(Might be more)
When I take memory out, BSOD stops, but its slow as feck. Even ask for a replacement memory and still did it.

What I have tried, plus more I cant think of.
I have: Updated drivers, new install of Windows(Didnt format though). Done sfc/scannow and Windows diagnostic tool memory(nothing), advanced systenm settings(startuprecovery)- setting and changed to small memory dump 256kB,memtest but kept crashing, changed different hardrive and still did did it.

The memory place said they have no idea whats causing it, as its the correct RAM.
Any ideas be great, I'm at a loss.

Kind regards
Giz

What was the spec / type of the original memory, and whats the spec of the new one?

If unsure dl CPUz and check out the spd tab for the timings and frequency and the memory tab for what its running at
