Hello, first post here, just because today I got my 1st (and hope not last) mechanical keyboard.

I'm doing practises in a small company, I saw there an abandoned mechanical keyboard and I asked the boss if he would mind selling it to me. He told me that I could keep it if I wanted because nobody was using it.

So that's the history of how I got my first Mechanical keyboard, an old "Acer 6312-TA" (spanish version) for free.

I've removed one of the keys trying to see the switch, it only says "ACER" on the upper side and "BH" on the lower side. Its color is black. My question is: Is this switch comparable to any 'cherry mx' switch? In that case, which?

They are unique to acer, is it these ones by any chance?

If so, some people compare them to the Alps switches, which in turn get compared to the cherry Browns, but thats a few jumps!
