Hello. I have a Nitro 5 an515-42 laptop. Recently I tried to access BIOS settings & it is asking for password. I entered my windows log in password but it did not accepted.
Last time I accessed BIOS settings was a year ago & then it didn't asked for password.
What to do ?

Take it to a service center, as you don`t have other options.
Please click "Yes" if I have answered your question.

That is very strange? As BIOS passwords are specifically set by the user and you have to set them within going to BIOS>Security>Set Supervisor Password section of your BIOS. There are ways around cracking BIOS passwords but, unless you know the password we can't advise you on anything as far as cracking BIOS passwords and/or anything in modding BIOS's, its one of the rules of this forum, sorry and good luck, contact Acer for further advice.
