Nitro 5 not turning off sometimes? AN515-52

Hello, I have my Nitro 5 AN515-52 for almost 2 years now. 

And I noticed past few weeks my laptop is taking longer to shutdown, the screen goes black but I can still hear fans and keyboard underlight is still on.

Two times happened that I woke up and my laptop ran out of battery because of this. (Past few weeks) Firstly I thought I just pressed sleep accidentally. No, I didn't.

I turned my laptop... about 2 hours ago. I checked it 15 minutes ago and the screen was off, fans and keyboard were on. I pressed several keys and mouse.. nothing. The hard shutdown did its job.
If is this some Windows related problem, please let me know as I couldnt find anything.

Looks like a software issue to me. Take backup of your documents and try a clean install of windows.
