Chrome Tab 10s battery problems

My school bought the Chrome Tab 10s for elementary aged students to use during the school day and during their remote learning days. However, after only three months they have consistent battery problems. They'll charge all night and be dead in the morning. When students take them home, they're dead by the time they go to work on assignments. I'm wondering if this is a universal problem, or if anyone has solutions? Thanks.

    I am very sorry to hear that students are experiencing these issues with the Acer Chrome tabs, unfortunately, the Acer community is not a direct portal to Customer service or technical support, the Acer Forum Discussions were designed as a peer to peer support community where Acer users help other Acer users. Many Acer employees (Moderators), read the various topics posted here and you will notice that some Acer employees interact with members when appropriate, primarily we want the community to be a place where members can exchange their own advice and ideas.

    I wonder if you have reported this to your IT department for the school or if they have already contacted our Premier advocates to report it?

    Usually, when is a purchase from a school or business, a Premier advocate is assigned or the school is provided with the direct contact information to our Premier team to report any issues if needed. If that's not the case, please send me a private message with the contact information (phone number, email, and name) and the best time to be reached, so I can send the request to our premier team and have an advocate give you a follow-up call to better assist you with this.
