So my laptop's battery has been working fine for a while now but recently it just stopped charging out of no where. Now it's a 0% plugged in, but as soon as I unplug the device, it shuts off. I also getting a blinking orange charge light when I'm plugged in. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the battery drivers multiple times but it has done nothing, any other suggestions?

    Hi,
Have you done the battery reset? If not, switch off the laptop, disconnect from mains, press Power button for 9Secs, leave the laptop to rest for few minutes, reconnect AC adapter and fully charge the battery before trying to use.
Download and install HWMonitor, run it and post the Battery section.

Yes, it's only a battery reset, when you start charging the battery after pressing the power button, leave the AC adapter connected longer period to fully charge the battery, in the meantime, go to Advanced Power Options and expand Battery, change the settings for Low battery level and Critical battery level as in my snip, I forgot to mention, did you plug in the AC adapter connection properly in to the laptop, until you hear the click.
Power Options-> Change Plan settings-> Change advanced power settings-> extend Battery.

I changed the settings for the power plan as shown as above. But I don't understand how I'm able to push the power button for 9 seconds when it's turned off unplugged. I can't turn on the device when it's unplugged because "apparently" There is no charge in the battery. I tried turning off my device, unplugging it, push the power button for 12+ seconds but it wasn't responsive, it only turns on when it's plugged in?

When you press power button for 9 Secs, it will reset the battery, you need to leave the laptop to rest for a while before you reconnect AC adapter and fully charge the battery, anyway, I think your battery may be dead but can not confirm because you have to check the battery with the appropriate tool, so I would suggest you contact Acer Support in your region and get it fixed under warranty if it's still available, otherwise take it to a local repair shop and get it checked.
