Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-54 547D) Built: 2020. 2 months old. Power/Battery Issue

I was playing World of Tanks, when suddenly my Acer Nitro shut down, with no warning about the low charge or anything. Since then it won't turn on. It doesn't show any battery charging LED indicators too. I have tried resetting the battery by opening the back lid, unplugging the battery. Yes nothing. I connected the AC Adapter to a power surge which further connects to the wall socket. ALso I remember plugging the charging cable while playing.
Any help would be really appreciated on this matter.

Check the KB flex cable and connector as well.

Are you talking about cables, like power cables and connecting wires? Well, they are in pristine condition, with no single sign of wear and tear. The only problem is that I do not have any other ways to check the cable or the ac adapter separately as of now!

    Which one is JKB1?
And how do you see if they are working fine?
By the looks, they seem fine to me, after I opened the back cover.

Those two, check if they are loose by gently pulling/moving them not just looking.

Ok now I understood what JKB1 cable and connectors are! Replying after checking them properly.

They are pretty tightly tucked into their respective sockets! Checked.

Well, then I am afraid you have to contact Acer Support and bring it to a service center for further diagnosis.

Hey Czar90, my Acer Nitro also shut down out of the sudden, did you find out what was the problem? Your response is appreciated.

  • @NIXXON Is your model an515-54? Try resetting the battery: turn off the computer, unplug the power adapter, press the power button for thirty seconds and leave the computer off for half an hour. Check the keyboard connector:https://community.acer.com/de/discussion/589155/nitro-5-laptop-an517-51-7700-laesst-sich-ploetzlich-nicht-mehr-einschalten#latest
