i7 10750H in some games, the CPU is instantly 0.8 GHz AN515-55

Temperatures CPU is the highest of 12 threads 92-93 degrees, usually 84-90 degrees. The GPU is at 78-82 degrees. I've only had this problem in GTA 5 and Cyberpunk 2077 so far. I played AC Odyysey for hours but there is no problem. Could this be a motherboard problem ? Additionally, the processor issues Power Limit Throttling and EDP Limit warnings, as well as the Intel XTU. No Thermal Throttling.
I use Acer AN515-55 Nitro 5 2020. ( i7-10750H, 2x16 GB RAM, GTX 1660 Ti and 512 GB NVMe M.2 SSD)

It doesn't happen in every game. It's a frustrating situation. Is it sure it's a motherboard problem? I did not have a problem with the Turbo fan in several attempts. Could the temperature threshold be 95 instead of 105? So it's a software thing.
If it doesn't happen in EVERY game - it is likely not a hardware issue. A hardware issue typically occurs in all games.
Some games push the CPU and GPU to their limits - try reducing the graphics settings for these games.
Cyberpunk - I know... even with 1060 6 GB card I barely got 30-40 FPS with low-medium settings at 1080p. Even with 1550 card with 4 GB, the FPS stays the same.
My laptop thermal throttled on this game and other games like RUST within seconds of launching. But using TS they go pretty fine.

T junction max temp for your processor is 100, not 105. So it is reasonable it is capped at 95 to avoid a potential chip failure.

GPU on the other hand has a lower max temp limits (yours most likely is in lower 80s). And since both share the same thermal exhausts (makes sense too), reducing CPU temps in turn effects GPU temps too and you have an overall cooler temps.

You should be able to undervolt the 10th gen CPU too - I was able to apply the undervolt i applied to 7th gen to 9th gen too with no issues. Please check if you applied properly.
Anyone else with 10th Intel CPU can confirm this.

Generation doesn't matter much. I have tested it on 7th and 9th. It works fine. You have to play around with values that suit your processor the best.

Your computer is unlikely to function at all if it is running at 0.8 GHz for real.

It is a display bug that gives out incorrect CPU speed information.

But at that moment there is also FPS drop in the game, so it is really 0.8 GHz.

Your can't undervolt the 10th gen can you? The 0.8ghz is the same that happened to my predator which needed the motherbaord replacing. Does it happen just under CPU load, or under a combined CPU and GPU?

Furmark and prime95 can be used to load the two.

It sounds like an issue with the power delivery, which could only be solved by the device centre :( 0.8 is very sever for thermal throttle unless it's hitting the tjmax at 100c

It could be a temp thing which is why im wondering if it also happens under a single load, in theory the lappy should be able to better cool the chip if the GPU isnt under load, or if its only the GPU under load. If you stress test it it may highlight if its thermals / power

I tried many ways but could not Undervolt. CPU and GPU cooling have two different pipes. In the game, the GPU is at 78-82 degrees and the CPU is 85-93.
I will ask one more thing. Not all cores are working steadily at 4-4.2 GHz. The reason for this is the TDP value. Is there any way to make 50-55W out of 45W?

    1. Not all cores work at peaks - if your processor has a peak speed of 4.5, that's the speed of only one processor at that speed. When more turn on, the speed goes down to keep it cooler.
    2. 50-55W out of 45W - I would not even recommend that - you'll only end up frying your laptop. Get a laptop cooler pad, that would help better. This isn't a desktop; laptops have their limitations.
    3. Pipes may be different, but they all move pretty much together, tightly bundled into the same space. So when goes up, it raises the temperature around it and raises the other too.
