Morning,

I have a model 14-ck0520sa Acer laptop, i5 processor, Realtek router, which is having trouble maintaining 100+ Mb/s speeds.
Read through a similar post on here and followed most of the suggestions which included checking the drivers for updates, changing the preferred band, some cmd prompt resets, and checking the resource monitor to see if there is anything running in the background hogging the speed. These changes resulted in a small increase from 20 odd up to roughly 45.
Immediately after some of these changes and a couple of reboots I can see initial speeds of 130+ which then eventually get dragged back down to those above.

Can't help but think there is something very sneaky running in the background I can't see but want to check if there are any other suggestions of things to try (short of a factory reset) or if this is a hardware issue (which I don't feel is likely).

Thanks in advance

    Hi
There are many issues that can cause slow wifi

so here are some steps which may help but it will be better if you contact your wifi provider.
    anyways

    1) open device manager
    2) click your wifi driver
    3) update it
    4) see if any improvement

otherwise it may be a fault from the wifi provider
