How do I get a replacement rather than a repair for my cracked screen that has a 3 year warranty?

I saw a comment earlier how this person got a refurbished replacement for his monitor. Anybody know how to do that? I talked to an employee on the phone but the only option was to repair it. I don’t have the time for a repair since I use my monitor almost 24/7.

There are a lot of differences between different service centers throughout the world. Cracked screens are almost always considered not covered by warranty and a fix is always a replacement of the screen. I suppose if the service center has access to refurbished units and they are shutdown or almost shutdown due to COVID-19 they might offer a swap with the refurbished, but that would be up to the local people I think.
