I have an Acer Aspire 7 (A715-41G) with an HDMI port, is it HDMI 2.0?

The laptop specs are:

  • Ryzen 5 3550H with Vega 8 onboard graphics
  • Nvidia GeForce GTA 1650
I want to connect a 4k external monitor to it, would it support it? Would it be able to run at 30 or 60 Hz?

Spec sheets seem to suggest 2.0:

Worse case at a min if it doesnt have .0a or .0b (Why not just call it 2.0 2.1 and 2.2!), It should still be able to push 60hz without HDR, most likley it will be able to use 4k@60 and hdr just fine

Thanks. I don't know why isn't there an official spec sheet from Acer saying that.

The Asus TUF FX505DT seems to have identical specs and is able to output HDMI 2.0 so I guess 2.0 is a safe assumption.
