Compromising Frames on Low Cpu Utilization.

hi guyz, ive ran into a very weird situation here.
i own a 2020 helios 300 variant. Here are the specs:

CPU: Core i5 10300h
GPU: GTX 1650ti 4 gb
Ram: 8 gb ddr4
hdd: 1 tb 7200 rpm
ssd: 240 gb
Screen: 144 hz

Problem:

So, i purchased a helios 300 from flipkart.in in October 2020 India. I played csgo and valorant on the medium and high settings on the first day and i got satisfactory frames, i.e around 100-130

Since the second day, i faced a very unusual problem, i.e when playing any game, Cpu temps went upto 96 degrees C and frames were falling down from 120 to 30 constantly as if stuttering always.

I researched a little and found a youtube video telling me to create a new battery profile and set minimum and maximum cpu state to 90 %.
I did the same and now on any game, ithe cpu and gpu stayed below 62 degrees C, which was enough to my satisfaction.

But then i noticed that this caused my frames to drop a lot, like...i used to get a maximum of 40-43 fps in any game even on the lowest settings. E.g GTA V online .

So i decided to switch back to the old stock "Acer" battery profile, where the maximum cpu state was 100%.

On default battery profiles, i get very high temps but great frames, and on custom battery profile, i get low temps, but very bad frames.

Things i tired:

1. undervolting - my CPU doesn't support undervolting so that is out of option.
2. turbo mode - Fans ran on high rpms but temps were still high and frames were the same (less).
3. Repasting- I could do that, but ive heard that repasting causes void in warranty.
4. Elevation- ive always kept laptop elevated and gave neough room to breathe freely.
5. Dust- it is a new laptop, and there is hardly any dust in it.

Plz help me, as i want to get what i paid for....:/

P.S ; I want to keep temps down because, i've read that high temps can cause damage to the internal components.

The only way to fix this is by undervolting and repasting. For repaste send it to acer. The other things you can try are reducing maximum usage(i think you did that) and reducing power usage of cpu but both of these will impact your performance negatively.

i thought about repasting, but im not sure if my warranty will remain intact.

You need to contact acer to find out whether repasting voids ur warranty. If it does then u should give ur laptop to them for repasting else u can do it by yourself.
