Heloo I have Acer aspire E5-476G
I5-8250U 3.4ghz boost and MX 150 2gb GDDR5
When playing most game the temperature for both cpu and gpu is always under 70°c. But when i touch the ram area (bottom left) of the laptop it was very hot, feel like 85°c ++ and the heatsink area (top left) is cooler than the ram area. Is there any way to fix this?
Notes:
1.Laptop is allready cleaned free of dust new thermal paste.
2.Airflow is not blocked and tried using cooler pad.
3.Happen to both my Acer E5-476G and my old Acer E5-553G since day one of purchase.
4.Quite disappointed with acer i have 2 HP laptop and this never happen even after 5 year of usage.

I think it's normal behavior, heatsink might feel relatively cooler because there's a fan blowing air at it and the RAM area doesn't have that.
My guess is you'll be fine, my 576G gets somewhat warm around that area too when gaming, (nowhere near 85°C though) and it's 2 years old, no RAM errors. What game you've been running?
