Only 3 months old, and gone from intermittent screen glitch to totally dead. Service shut for Covid. How stranded am I?

Depending on where you are located, Acer support should still be open but maybe not for physical visits. They should be able to get you fixed up, though it might take a bit longer than before COVID-19...

    Thanks for the reply.
The lack of any guide or timelines to resuming Service activities is less than reassuring.

I'm not the only one searching for info re. screen glitching on the Spin 713.

Hope others are not so unlucky that this then rapidly proceeds to black out.

What does Acer support say? Which locale are you in?

"Unfortunately all operations have been cancelled due to restrictions and will resume next year." U.K.

Not responding (within 48 hrs) to a request for any possibility of resuming service.

O.K. Shipped to the repair agent yesterday.

Hate it when companies expect the customer to print  shipping labels at home.

Better than expecting the customer to put a bunch of stamps on the package. :)
Let us know how it works out.

Aye, but printing the shipping label for a customer is also an option.

    Today's (not) news -

"Your unit, which was logged on requires parts to be ordered to complete the repair. We have ordered them and the status is now Awaiting Spares. We'll send a follow up email once they have arrived and your unit has been shipped from our repair centre."

So, a month to get in the required queue, though Xmas,New Year, and Covid have intervened. Now the wait for a new screen.

Yeah, and part orders move just as fast as everything else these days ... slowly. :(
