Recently I  bought this Acer laptop model Aspire A314-32, but since I started to download programs that I need or some that I use for fun, I noticed that my laptop is going very slow, every time I tried to open other programs while the chrome downloads continue it starts freezing for seconds. Later days in the task manager I realize my CPU and Memory consume where  so high, almost every time going in 100%. I know chrome is a program that use a lot of RAM memory, even thought my  laptop is brand new, it kept freezing, Im not really sure if things like that should happen. I would understand if have download several programs and saturating my laptop, but I didn´t. I would appreciate some help please

Same. I've had issues basically since they day I bought it. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to send it away to get repaired as I bought it for work and I figured a brand new laptop would work properly (stupid assumption I know). If I go on Task Manager and select the "Processes" tab, my CPU is usually at 100%. Even if I am just using one tab on the internet to leave a comment on Acer's discussion board (just as now). I have other apps open, including other internet tabs, but I have a program that mutes background processes (the IT guy from my work installed it). It varies which "process" is consuming the largest chunk of my CPU; sometimes it's Firefox, system interrupts, zerotier-one (which I think is the network for my work), task manager itself, or one of the many apps that begin with "Service Host:". I've scanned for malware and they come up negative, so I don't think that's the issue. Plus, the issue has existed since I bought the computer, so that would mean I bought a computer with a virus on it. Any help would be appreciated!
