Hello guys hope you are well , I have a laptop Acer Predator helios 300 rtx2070 intel i7-9750H CPU 2.60GHz and i would like know if anyone else got my same laptop.
The problem I have on this laptop is then overheating quite a lot. Temperature of my CPU as soon I open any game the temperature go to 92 C and stick on that temperature, even with fan on to MAX and the fan cooler stand under the pc . Even if just i watch a movie or like now i`m just writing this, the temperature of my CPU is 60 C . If I`m play with the fans OFF after 10 minutes my laptop turn off show a blu page with error and then no bootable device, so i need to force the restart for let work my laptop .
I send twice my laptop to Acer Repair the first time they said the was a problem with my HDD and SSD so it`s been replace with new one , but i still have the same problem nothing change .The second time they say my machine is working fine.
I do undertand the laptop goeas off because go in secure mode when is too hot . But when i bought this pc from the begining was not give me this problem.
There is anyone else have my same laptop and have same problem ? It`s normal is overheating so much ?
Please answer to my question I will appreciate it . I`m going crazy  :s

I think you might have a bad thermal paste or a lot of dust inside your laptop.  Do you smoke, or have pets around?
You can open the laptop and clean the dust, you can change the thermal paste too, if you do that carefully.
Note that opening your laptop may void your warranty, so proceed with caution, you may ask the service center to do the same but I am not sure if they will do this.

i though as well but i send to ACEr care and they didn`t anything actually they said the machine is working good . I check some video to replace the thermal paste but better if will be some expert to do it as i need to unplague everythig inside . Right now I`m using ThroottleStop i undervolt the core and i mange to drop the temperature of 20-15 C . I need check if the acer support will be able to replace the thermal paste

T'S NOT MY SOLUTION I HAVE FOUND IT IN THE ACER COMMUNITY BUT IT WORKED FOR ME MY LAPTOP PH315-53 SPEC ARE  I5 10TH GEN RTX 2060 ADD NEW BATTERY POWER OPTION AND CHANGE THE FREQUENCY IN IT
    2. Confirm all actions and complete the installation.
    3. Go to Control Panel -> Power Options -> Advanced Settings.
    4. Open the Processor Power Management section and go to Maximum Processor Frequency.
    5. Set Plugged In Value to -> Total MHz - 500MHz(E.g. if you have 4100MHz, set it to 3600MHz).

    6. Apply the settings.

Note: The change above will not affect Intel Turbo Boost technology. Your CPU will still use Intel Turbo Boost.

I hope that after the steps above you should be able to run your game as smooth as they were before without a temperature issue.
The temperature should be between 80° - 88°
