I tried to do a full reset on my Acer Aspire 5 and It was stuck on 65 for a few hours.Instead of going to a 100,It completed the reset at 65 and now the blue windows installation screen appears. Its quite unusual as I have resetted it before and it always goes up to a 100 and does a routine Chdsk before reinstaling windows. There was a blue screen of death before tho but I managed to hard reset again and it completed at 65%.Is this "bad" or normal?Or perhaps a sort of bug where 65% was shown instead of 100%??Windows is preparing as usual..Should I do a ChKdsk to fix any hdd issues?.Its fairly a new laptop with about 2 months of use.I hope this is normal and not a major issue which is unfixable at home..I hope u understand and help.Thanks....

Update:Im using the pc as normal,so far there doesnt seem to be an issue,Yet still the windows reset being completed at 65% could be a cause for concern?i

Normal. The the processing bar is a rough measure of the  number of files being decompressed and installed regardless of size.  Often one or two very large files are being decompressed & installed and the bar won't move much because it's only one or two files being processed that take a long time. Once completed, the bar will make a huge jump. If it's the last file to be processed, then you may never see 100% because it is so fast to jump to the next screen in the installation process. If your  machine is acting normally, there should be no reason for concern. Jack E/Nj
