Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds till the machine shuts off. Then remove the charger. Then insert a paperclip into the battery reset pinhole on the bottom for about 30 seconds. Then reconnect the charger. Wait till the battery charge LED turns from steady orange to steady blue. Then try to turn the machine on again. Jack E/NJ

You have a USB pendrive? Make a bootable disk out of it and see if you can reinstall windows.

Press and hold the power button till the machine shuts off. About 5 seconds. Then turn the machine back on and IMMEDIATELY press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key. A recovery screen should appear to allow you to either refresh the system while trying to save your personal files or reset to a factory fresh condition. Jack E/NJ
