I've had many problems with this laptop, mostly sound related. Sometimes volume control doesn't work, and other times it won't register anything plugged into the headphone jack. But this time, the sound stopped working entirely, with or without headphones/bluetooth devices. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, now do I fix it?

I have this same problem too. I use an ACER Nitro 5 as well.

This problem happened last night for me. I was watching a YouTube video and I left for a few minutes to go to the bathroom. When I came back and hit play on the YouTube video, the sound was gone all of a sudden! I checked to see if the YouTube video or my laptop sound were muted, and no they were not. I even cranked my sound up to 100% and still there was no sound. This was strange because it was JUST working a few minutes ago!

I tried troubleshooting the problem and it did say to disable audio enhancements as a suggestion. I tried this and it unfortunately did not work:
