Bluetooth Acer 7741Z
Hello to all..   I have like new  Acer 7741Z, i found out it doesn't came with bluetooth.. i know i can buy a Bluetooth USB Dongle, but  i don't want to use USB ports.. so i want to know if is possible to add a Bluetooth inside card... if so.. where i have to install it.. and how... and which one to buy...

    Not recommended because you have to disassemble the main unit to remove the entire top case, keyboard, and other components as shown in the figure below. A very risky effort.  Furthermore, the foxconn modules are obsolete, hard to find, add heat,  and much slower than the tiny CSR 4+ USB dongles. Compact USB port expanders are cheap and readily available if you need more USB points. But it's ultimately up to you if you want to risk collateral damage by installing a slower speed bluetooth device. Jack E/NJ

    I really like this laptop.. but i don't know to consider to sell it a buy a close one.. I do not know which one .. if you can suggest, I will appreciate.... today also I bought a new solid HD...

    If you're happy with it you should keep it. Windows10 and LinuxMint should run just fine on it with the same look, feel and function of Windows 7. Some of the older laptops like the 7741 series are quite comparable to today's laptop standards. Jack E/NJ

    If it's located near the wifi card, it's for 3G phone modem not a BT module. Jack E/NJ
