Hi and thank you for your time reading this post.

I currently own an Aspire F5-573G-59ZR for some time now. Apparently, I am not yet keen on buying a new laptop since this works fine but I do wish to upgrade some components particularly the storage drive. At present I have an M.2 Sata SSD 128GB and thought of getting a bigger storage until I've come upon a post that this model may support NVME. I have read all the post in the forum regarding M.2 NVME support to this particular model and was confident that my laptop would support it until I came across details that my "Slot" is NOT IMPLEMENTED.

Can anyone verify what I have found. Would I still be able to use a M.2 NVME or is there anyway that I could have the slot implemented. Here are two images comparing my laptop with another user who was able to use an M.2 NVME.

Thank you for all your response!

    Hi,
Yes, you can use a M.2 NVMe SSD in your model, at the moment you don't have a M.2 NVMe SSD installed, so it will show "No" for "Site Implemented", once you install a M.2 NVMe SSD it will change to "Yes", you have PCIe 3.0x2 port, you will achieve half the speed advertised by the manufacturers.

Hey man I'm a few years late to this one, but did you ever go ahead with putting a M.2 NVME in that Acer? I put one in mine (slightly different model F5-573G-73BD) and while some things became awesome (startup speed, generally faster all round for programs etc) REALLY breathed new life into my trusty ol Acer. However, one thing that sucks is the bottleneck thing when transferring files to external hard drives, usb sticks etc. I have found a Aspire F5-573G-59ZR for a sweet price but was wondering if I should take the upgrade an ol' faithful route or bite the bullet and aim newer and more $$$. Be great to hear how you went!
