Mic drops when GPU starts running [Helios 300]

Hello everyone~
Here's a question that might be easy to solve, but I couldn't find an answer anywhere so here I am. My mic usually works alright, it's not great, but not bad. People can understand me. But whenever my GU starts running (eg when I start a game, mostly LoL), the quality suddenly drops and I'm told it becomes really hard to understand what I say, despite me doing literally nothing apart launching a game on the GPU. I know it's related to the GPU because the quality drop doesn't happen when the game launcher, which runs on CPU, is started, but only really when the game itself, which runs on the GPU, starts.
So, yeah, any help would be greatly appreciated, I only enjoy multiplayer games and not being to communicate really sucks
