It's been while since that question was asked, but I do have the exact same issue. NVMe drive works fine on an external USB enclosure. No luck with the drive in the second NVMe slot - slot works fine with a second 128GB nvme drive. But with the ADATA 4TB windows boot tries to "repair" the boot drive and keeps resetting. I noticed the ADATA drive is getting fairly hot and might exceed power draw? Also, the 4TB drive does not boot after image mirror from internal drive if it is installed as the only drive.

I was never able to solve this. The 4tb drive never worked correctly in any of my laptops (4 different laptops/manufacturers - Asus, Dell, HP, & Acer), always worked in an external USB adapter. It always worked in all of my desktops. Even with the drive empty and the Windows installer on USB, it wouldn't boot up. Currently, the 4tb resides quite happily in my media/family gaming PC (Intel I5 10700/ASUS TUF Gaming Z490-Plus w/ 32gb & RTX 2070). The Nitro 5 currently "only" has 6tb in the form of 3 X 2 tb drives.

That's unfortunate. I do have 2 2TB drives in my desktop (raid0). Might swap those two against the 4TB and put the 2x2TB into the Acer. Thanks. Should have researched this earlier. (and well, I have a 2TB hdd in the Acer as well ;)
