I have an Acer Aspire e5-771. Updating to 20H2 worked fine, but after the update I could not connect to Internet. The adapters work find, in Device Manager I couldn't find anything weird. I searched the Internet (through my iPad!) for solutions, tried everything (EnableActiveProbe, Reset netwerk, disable/enable adapters, nothing worked. After I had reverted to the previous Windows version all worked as a charm.

What i would STRONGLY suggest is to:
    1. Keep windows partition small by moving documents folder to a non windows drive and installing non essential items like games and such outside windows drive.
    2. Set up monthly windows drive images.
    3. Make sure to take a windows drive image before any feature update.

Keep these images outside windows drive.
