I bought a new Acer Aspire 7 with Win 10 Home and I want some features of Win 10 Pro.
I'm considering switching to a retail version of Win 10 Pro but I noticed that in my old acer laptop ( it has retail windows 10 ) , the keyboard shortcuts ( the function keys ) dont do what they are supposed to do ( adjusting brightness or volume etc ). But this works perfectly in the new laptop, I think this might be because the OEM ver of Win 20 comes with some preinstalled keyboard driver that enables those shortcuts so will switching to a retail ver stop these shortcuts from working or will they continue to work? I'm also a little concerned about performance impacts and other driver software.
Do I need to be worried about these things or will windows figure them out itself?

Upgrading version of windows won't affect anything much.
