I'm at the end of my tether with my Nitro 5 Acer Laptop! I feel I've done everything possible. The model is NHQ5AEK005XXXX
I've uninstalled and updated my sound drivers, in the sound panel my laptop doesn't register any of my headphones to even allocate them as default in the playback menu. I've updated windows and even bought a new pair of headphones that work perfectly through my phone but not my laptop. When the headphones are plugged in I do get the 'Which device did you plug in?' notification and music does play through the headphones. However the quality is awful- its warped and the bass doesn't come through, the lyrics are quiet and muffled and certain elements are inaudible ect. Even though this notification pops up however it doesn't recognise them as headphones in the playback sound. The headphones I'm using are TRRS from what I've researched since that is supposed to play into it but I'm not quite sure how. This is such an issue for these laptops from what I've gathered but every solution I've tried hasn't worked!
I would appreciate any sort of help, thankyou for even reading.
