While in a zoom meeting, and simultaneously trying to open a secondary meeting in my web browser, my camera unexpectedly stopped working. Here's a breakdown of the event.
-In a zoom meeting, camera on, w/desktop app
-Log in to another meeting with in browser app
-I notice the camera won't turn on in browser.
-I go back to Zoom desktop app and find the camera is off, and no longer listed for my video devices.

The camera has completely disappeared from my system. No app seems to recognize it. Camera app says "Device not connected.
After searching for hidden devices, the device manager shows the Canon MX920 camera disconnected, shows in the properties menu "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45) To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

Did my camera decide to spontaneously die at this moment? Or did I somehow murder its drivers by trying to open it in two separate windows? Any ideas on a fix? I have tried most methods posted on this forum. Resetting camera app, troubleshooter, etc. All point to the camera somehow coming physically disconnected, or an unwillingness to recognize the device as plugged in.

Any thoughts on a solution?
