Why does my Nitro N50-600 keep randomly freezing/crashing?

Hey all
I’m new to posting so bear with me. I’ve done a lot of research and found a lot of people have this issue whether it be a Nitro desktop or laptop and I’m wondering if anyone has actually found a solution cause I have yet to find one after all the reading and trying solutions from other peoples’ similar issues. So with that in mind, here’s my system info and what’s happening.

Acer
Nitro N50-600
BIOS: R01-C2
CPU: Intel Core i7-9700 @ 3.0GHz
Mem: 20480MB RAM

Display
NVIDIA
GeForce GTX 1650
Tot Mem: 14160MB
VRAM: 3962MB
Shared Mem: 10198MB

The Issue:
when I use AutoCad, Microsoft Office etc., everyday computing, there doesn’t appear to be an issue and it doesn’t freeze. When I open Google Chrome to stream Bell FibeTv (my cable provider), it freezes after a while and I have to hold power button to shut down/reboot. When I open Netflix or Amazon Prime Video apps to stream, it randomly freezes/crashes. Have to reboot. I’m not a tech by any means but it does appear to be a GPU issue but after reading as much as I have and implementing a lot of recommendations from the Acer community, this issue still persists. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Thanks in advance
