Hi there,
I have a problem with my Chromebook acer cb5312T.
when I switch it on, after a short while the bluetooth turns on automatically.
I have to manually turn it off. when trying to access to the settings the only option available is to switch Bluetooth on/off, no extra options.

Would anyone know how to fix that?
thanks in advance,
all the best

What problem is this causing when trying to connect to another bluetooth device like a headset or phone? Jack E/NJ

Thanks for your time. Well it dos not cause any problem when I try to connect my Acer to a bluetooth device (i managed to connect a loudspeaker).
My issue is that I d like to prevent the Bluetooth to connect automatically. There must be a way to set up the Bluetooth so it can only be turned on manually. Does it make sense?
    Thx

Connect to what? I think you're merely turning off the BT icon in the tray, not disabling the BT hardware.  Jack E/NJ

Hold on. Just to make sure: if the BT is on it keeps tracking devices to connect to and keeps sending a BT wave? If it is off it does not (like the Wifi)
Well on every single device I ve had so far you had to manually switch the BT on so you could use it.
I just don t want the BT wave to be On everytime i use my laptop ... (i do not believe that being exposed to BT and Wifi all day long is a good thing for your body/brain...)
    Thx

The power saver features assures that the BT acts only as a receiver or detector, not a transmitter until paired with another BT device.  If you're still concerned about BT transmtter radiation anyway, then you must manually turn it off as you would any modern device like a mobile phone.
