Hello Everyone,

I recently purchased an Acer Aspire TC-895-UA91 Desktop PC which has been running great.  I have added and additional 1TB SSD to increase storage but have noticed my CPU fan has been working a bit too hard keeping everything cool.  I then noticed the desktop does not have a chassis fan.  There is a 4 pin connection for a system fan which is exactly what I need.  The only problem being is I do not know the pinout of the "SYS FAN" connection and cannot find it anywhere online.
Does anyone have a pinout for this connection?  I would even take a motherboard schematic and figure it out myself if that is what it takes.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Since you found the 4-pin "SYS FAN" connector, don't need to know which pin is for what purpose (the connector is fool proof). Even a 3-pin connector case fan can be used for a 4-pin connector. The extra pin is for sending feed back.
The Acer "SYS FAN" connector is not a true PWM connector, some people (including me for my TC-885) found out the case fan isn't working the way they expected from the Acer PWM "SYS FAN" connector. At least that happened to some case fans if not all.
I have my case fan on all the time during summer and have the fan in "Smart Fan Control " enabled in BIOS after summer.
You may want to get a software program to control the fan speed if want it to behave better.
