My acer nitro 5 an515-54-547d uses 50% of the GPU

Ok so I just got this laptop a few days ago and it came with a problem where it was using the integrated graphics instead of the RTX 2060. I fixed that problem then resumed to play VALORANT and warzone. At first, I didn't notice this because VALORANT is easy to run so I was getting 144FPS. It wasn't consistent, but it wouldn't drop under 110FPS. Then after downloading Warzone I tried it and was getting 40-60FPS (it didn't change with changing the graphics settings) which was weird considering this laptop has an RTX 2060, so I downloaded MSI afterburner to check the usage and temps and I noticed that the GPU usage was fairly low for some reason. I forgot to mention that I was getting 100FPS in practice battle royale mode with bots, so it doesn't make any sense how the GPU does well in a practice game and terrible in a real match. Same With GTA story mode. I get 90-110FPS with a GPU usage of 50-60% then I go to GTA Online and it drops to 30% usage and I can't even get more than 50FPS. It's not like I was limited by power or temperature as if it was thermal throttling and the CPU usage wasn't high so it's not a bottleneck. It was using 80% when it needed to but with no FPS increase. For example: if I put the resolution rendering to 200%, it would use 80+% but with no FPS increase. It's like it's capped, but not really. I don't know, this doesn't make any sense. And I searched the whole internet, no one has this problem besides me which means no one will care or know how to fix it. I'm starting to think that my laptop is defective and I should return it. I'll try to reset it to factory settings but after that...I'm done.

That sounds like a serious defect.... You might think about taking it to a repair shop, or, if you're under warranty, call acer support and talk it through with them about getting your warranty replacement computer.
