Hello, I've been trying to upgrade my old Aspire E1 572 from HDD to an SSD but with tools and things I can now boot into windows from the SSD on my desktop computer but cannot on this. It says it is missing the default boot drive and drags me into the boot manager WHICH IS EMPTY!? I guess I have to change this inside the bios settings (if not you could give advice of what else I can do) and change so that I will boot onto the SSD but a password is in the way and the CMOS battery seems to be soldered so I can't reset it that way and other software I've tried has not worked either. What should I do?

Sorry, posts on bypassing of security features are not allowed on these forums. This includes removal or bypass of hard disk, BIOS or TPM passwords. You must contact your regional ACER service center for this. Jack E/NJ
