Acer nitro 5 problem

I got a an acer nitro 5 computer with gtx that might be broken, I was playing games on it when I was going to stand up and the headphone cord pulled the computer and fell, after that I turned it off and went to sleep, when I turned it back on the computer was stuck on the acer screen with no loading ring, I can access bios and tried to battery pinhole reset with a BIOS reset to default but nothing, if you could help me that would be great

The Toshiba hard drive has likely been damaged. Go back into the BIOS menu MAIN tab. Make sure the F12 and D2D options are enabled. Save settings and exit. Then press and hold the power button till the machine shuts off. About 5 seconds. Then turn it back on again and immediately press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key. If the Toshiba drive is salvageable, a recovery screen should appear. First try the option to recover the system while trying to save your personal files. Jack E/NJ

I am not sure, on my boot tab I can only see boot mode, and boot priority order, and in my information I cannot se anything labeled hard drive

Can you post a phone shot of the Information tab? If there's no drive listed for HDD0 or HDD1, then the drive got either disconnected from the mainboard or damaged. Jack E/NJ

Congrats. However, if it was mine and knowing the old Toshiba took a hard hit, I'd probably order a 1TB WesternDigital Green SSD pronto (~$80 from Amazon) with the intention of removing the Toshiba HDD and Intel Optane card. Then re-install Win10 on the new WD SSD  in normal SATA mode instead of RAID. The SSD would be a faster drive with twice the capacity of the RAIDed 1TB Toshiba/Optane  plus the m.2 socket would then be available for a normal m.2 SSD card if I wanted. Then I'd simply connect the old Toshiba to a USB port using a USB-to-HDD adapter cable (~$10 also from Amazon in the same order) and pull off all my personal stuff onto the new WD SSD. Then put the old Toshiba on the shelf for safe keeping. Yup, that's what I'd do. And I'd do it today even though Amazon might be pretty slow on CyberMonday.   Jack E/NJ
