I was wondering if the Acer Predator XB273 Gxbmiipprzx 27" FHD has 120hz through HDMI

I'm asking this since I play console games and I'd like a monitor that can handle 120hz through HDMI.

The XB273 supports HDMI version 2.0, which theoretically can support 120Hz, but almost all implementations do not. You really need HDMI 2.1 to get 120Hz reliably, and 2.1 is pretty new so most existing monitors don't support it. Typically you use DP or dual link DVI if you want those kinds of speeds.

    Hi @DarkDragon

When it comes to high refresh rates in monitors it works only when the monitor is connected via a display port cable to a computer. So when it comes to consoles monitors may or may not work in terms of high refresh rates.

Hope it will help you in some way.
