Hello dear community.
I faced a problem, which is often published here. The bios password problem.
So, I decided to make the most stupid movement. I tried to flash the bios with a previous bios version, in order to make my lovely laptop work without a bios password again (or at least to reset it).
IT WAS the worst move I could do! Unfortunatelly, the bios flashed wrongly. The laptop does not start up. Bothe leds (battery charging and power on led) are going on as usual. The CPU fan start working. The monitor stays total black, without any incoming signal to it.
What I tried: I have read the similar cases here, allthough for other acer models. I tried around 10 times to make a bootable usb stick. An old one. With 1 GB. I extracted the original bios file, took out the SlkKL114.fd file, as well as minidos.sys and PHLASH16.EXE from wincrisis. By other tries, I add all the wincrisis files. I also tried to make a dos bootable usb stick and add the motherboard file SlkKL114.fd but nothing happened.
All those moves was made with holding the Fn button, the Esc button and powered on the laptop.
I feel so angry with my self, because I already knew that we shouldn't play around with the BIOS on our systems.
PLEASE, please help me recover my laptop. I am a student and have to continue working on my papers :(
Thank you in advance.

Sorry. It sounds like the laptop has been bricked trying to bypass the password. You will have to contact ACER service in your region to repair the BIOS. Jack E/NJ
