Hey all,

I've found myself with the group of folks who've recently bought a QHD monitor expecting the PS5 to natively output 1440p at launch but disappointingly it doesn't. Whether or not Sony will provide a fix for this in a future firmware update (I personally can't see that happening), I'm wondering if there's a way to downscale a 4K input to1440p from the console rather than stretching a 1080p input. I'm using a Acer VG270UP IPS QHD 144HZ, which I understand may be a fairly budget model - so I'm not expecting much.

When trying to change the display settings through the PS5 menus the
2160p option is greyed out as unsupported. I don't suppose there could be anyway round this by changing some monitor settings?

Shot in the dark and a last ditch attempt before I start looking at 4K televisions!

Cheers!
