Hello, I have been using this monitor over HDMI and DP with my gaming PC for several weeks now, with no issues at 1440p144Hz.

However, on the Xbox Series X, it forces me to drop down to 60Hz at 1440p or 1080p 120Hz. Apparently this is an issue with the monitor having non-standard vesa timings that are recognized by the console, and therefore it will not output a 1440p 120Hz signal no matter what.

This is clearly a MS issue, and hopefully they are looking into it, but I was curious what Acer's position would be, and if there are any suggestions for others out there who have more knowledge of this or similar issues. I have heard that there are work-arounds to compatibility issues between sources and displays (Doctor HDMI, etc.), and I am curious about any suggestions for those types of solutions as well.

Thanks

    Hi @SwampMan7

In most of the cases the Acer monitors are not tested with gaming consoles like Xbox and PlayStation. So they might support high refresh rates or not in any gaming consoles I would suggest you to connect the monitor with the desktop to check for the high refresh rates in their respective resolutions.

Hope it will help you in some way.
