I've read through other posts on this topic but none were able to help me. I am trying to install a WD Blue 3D Nano SATA SSD M.2 2280 250 GB into my Acer Swift model N17W6, SF114-32 series, but I cannot get the BIOS to recognize it. I tried resetting the battery. I made sure that the SATA was enabled. I'm frustrated because bought the laptop with the expectation of expanding with the SSD, but I can't even get past this first step. Anyone know any tips or tricks? Am I using the wrong SSD? Thank you!

That's not the fastest drive you could install, since the M.2 port supports 4 lane NVMe, but the SATA mode is also supported. So you are saying with the drive installed when you boot into Windows and run Disk Management it's not there as an empty drive? I don't believe it's shown in the BIOS anywhere, just the SATA HDD on that first screen.
