Help I have an acer482OT since new - windows 7 home premium.
I think I went through all win 7 updates , then free win 8.
I then installed win10 not realising it wasnt fully supported. ( i did this a while back ) and not realising a deadline existed for reverting back.
so i decided to try and go back - it didnt let me , so I thought a factory reset would be a good idea - how wrong I have been.
Win 7 has reinstalled but is failing to update in any way
I am trying to boot from a dvd ( I was sensible and did a backup )  but pressing F2 does abasolutley nothing - help !!!

If you're trying to a bootable recovery DVD, then you must first turn the machine off by pressing and holding the power button for about 5 seconds. Then turn it back on and immediately start tapping the F12 (not F2) key. A boot menu should appear to allow you to boot from the DVD if it is indeed bootable. Jack E/NJ
