Nitrosense and possible faulty fan

Hi
Just bought a 

Nitro 5 AN515-44 GeForce GTX 1650 AMD Ryzen 5 8GB RAM 512GB SSD 15.6in FHD Gaming Laptop

Just tried to open the Nitrosense application to check and make a small change in advanced settings. The problem is it is not opening. I have tried with the N button on the keyboard, that didn't work. I tried the shortcut on the taskbar and that didn't work. I also tried asking Cortana to find the app and tried to load it. Nothing. This was working a few days ago.
My concern is that I don't think the cooling fans are working. The machine is within the 14 day purchase agreement. So I want to find out if I am correct before returning the Laptop as I don't really want to set a new machine up again if I don't have to..
Is there anybody that can help me check to see if the fans are faulty please. Many thanks

    Solved it. Just reinstalled Nitrosense and everything is working fine now.
