I bought this laptop in June and unfortunately my parrot decided to rearrange the keyboard! I can get a replacement from Acer, but was wondering a) is it straightforward to replace, and 2) is it worthwhile upping the memory to 12gb and is that easy to do?
Many thanks for any tips.

It's pretty straight forward to replace, but that doesn't mean it's simple. The keyboard and upper case are one unit so pretty much everything needs to come out in order to replace it. You need to know the keyboard language and color to match what you have. It's also a good time to upgrade memory, since you'll be down so deep. I'd likely go with 8GB total rather than 12GB, just because that gives you dual channel mode and I'm not positive you get dual channel when you have mismatched sticks installed.
