Evening all,
I purchased a brand new Acer Nitro 5 AN515-43-R5W3 from Curry's today. I get home, put it on charge for a couple of hours, open the lid to turn it on and... the red LED lights up under the keys, and the fans start working for 1-2 seconds, and then nothing; the screen remains black and the fans stop working. I've sat around turning it off and on over and over again like a muppet for 45 minutes and suddenly it decides to turn on? Then I select shut down - and have the same issue? Lights on, fan works for 1-2 seconds, black screen... after another half an hour it'll randomly turn on.

I've tried googling the issue but nobody seems to provide a fix. Anybody know what's going on with it? Am I being dense, or missing something? Incredibly frustrating forking out a lot of money on something during these unprecedented times; and it turns up not working.

Thanks

I am very sorry to hear this, I recommend trying a power reset (turn off the unit and disconnect the charger, press the power button for 12 seconds and try again), if it doesn't work, please contact your local Acer support channel to have the unit sent for repair.

    Thanks,
